Your RV’s battery supplies plenty of power; unfortunately, it’s DC instead of AC. A pure sine wave power inverter will keep all of your electric gear running. Its design works with newer LED equipment, and one model to look at is the XYZ INVT Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter.

The Details

You don’t typically think about the number of appliances and devices that depend on power in your RV. There’s the washer, dryer, refrigerator, microwave, and even your new LED TV. The Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter by XYZ INVT supplies 3,500 watts of continuous power to all of your connected devices.

It converts the DC voltage from the motor home’s engine battery into an AC power source your devices can use.

The inverter is also a breeze to set up. Simply connect the DC cables to the engine battery and the AC lines to the appliances you want to keep running. The XYZ INVT power inverter is the ideal solution for living in an RV.

Keep power flowing to your digital devices, like cameras, laptops, tablets, and phones; everything you need to stay connected to loved ones, while you’re enjoying life off the grid in your RV.

The pure sine inverter allows you to connect multiple devices simultaneously. Charge your phone while using your laptop and camera to record your RVing adventures. An LED display lets you know which devices are connected. You also have the option of using live, neutral, earth, or grounded connections. Pick the one that best suits your electrical needs.

With nine different types of protection, you don’t have to worry about your traveling vacation home going up in flames from an electrical current malfunction. You get the following protection with the XYZ INVT Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter.

  • Short-circuit
  • High-temperature
  • High-voltage
  • Low-voltage
  • Surge
  • Overload
  • Over-current
  • Fuse
  • Reverse

The sine wave power inverter also comes with everything you need to keep your devices running while you enjoy life on the road. You get the inverter, plus two sets of battery cables and several fuses.

What I Liked

I love traveling at my own pace in my RV. The only downside was worrying about power for my mobile devices. I found a solution with the pure sine wave inverter by XYZ INVT.

It’s easy to connect. Not only does it come with marked cables, but you also get clearly printed instructions in the owner’s manual. You won’t have any trouble following the steps. It’s my first time using an inverter, and I powered my laptop, mobile devices, and microwave.

I also appreciate the LED displays that let me know exactly where the power is going.

Something else I appreciate is the protection settings. RVs are potentially flammable. There’s gas, electrical power, and plenty of surfaces that will burn. With nine protection settings, I can sleep soundly at night, even with my devices plugged in.

It’s also nice that everything comes included in the box. I don’t have to spend time searching stores for cables or fuses.

The XYZ INVT Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter is one of my top picks for RVers for the best inverter.

Complaints

No product is without a few downsides, and this applies even to the XYZ INVT Pure Sine Wave Power Converter.

The ground lead is not bonded to the neutral one. It is a violation of the updated US National Electric Code. It is a little worrying even with the various safety protections in place. The voltage can also jump around some when it’s not under load. It does settle under load and protects your devices from power surges that may occur when the voltage increases.

You will also need to replace the included cables to compensate for higher power loads. The thin cables are not capable of running anything over 250amps. It’s enough power for a few small devices or a large appliance like a refrigerator or washer. It’s not enough to keep both running at full power.

Reviews From Other RVers

With a high five-star rating, the power inverter makes life easier for everyone that loves RVing and wants the comforts of home.

Other reviewers agree that it is a good inverter for the price. It does have some problems with high power usage. However, these issues are solvable by changing out the thin wires for thicker copper cables. It is a jump in price but worth it if you want to live a comfortable life on the road.

Final Thoughts

RVing gives you the freedom to stay as long as you want at some places and leave whenever you want. It’s the ability to set your route and pace that makes traveling the country in an RV so appealing.

There is a downside when it comes to power. A lot of your devices and appliances need AC and not DC. The XYZ INVT Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter takes care of this problem. It converts DC power to AC so you can stay connected wherever you are.
