Anyone who has an RV knows how important it is to get the proper power supply pumping to all of your appliances. This is especially important if you are going on longer trips. Since not all power inverters are created equally, finding the right one for you can be a challenge. Fortunately, the KRIEGER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter is a solidly good choice!

The Details

This power 12-volt power inverter comes with two 110-volt AC ports and is powerful enough to provide all of your appliances with continuous energy, no matter what. I’ve used it to power up my refrigerator, laptop, television, stand-alone freezer, and other electronic devices.

Don’t worry about overloading it; this power inverter will stand up to all of the curveballs that you throw at it. It’s truly a superstar!

All you need to do to get it up and running is hook up the DC cables right to your battery, and you’re ready to hit the road. It also comes with a 20-foot wire that hooks up to a remote control so that you can manage the KRIEGER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter from just about anywhere. If you were to buy this on your own, you’d have to spend at least $60.

It won’t overload or short circuit either. There are temperature controls that keep it from overheating and an LCD display so that you can see where you are at, at all times, in real-time! Don’t worry about your battery running out either.

If you’re getting low, the KRIEGER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter will alert you well in advance, so you can keep on charging up your appliances like nothing ever happened.

What I Liked

What’s there not to like about the KRIEGER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter? For starters, it’s super easy to set up. Installation is a breeze, and if you still have any questions or problems, there are plenty of YouTube tutorials that can help you figure out the best way to put it together.

It’s also an excellent value. Comparable power inverters tend to cost a whole lot more. I really feel like I’m getting my money’s worth with this one.

I loved a lot of the display features too. I was able to see exactly where I was with my battery levels at all times, and I felt confident that the power inverter wouldn’t overheat, no matter what. It also comes with a three-year warranty, so if something goes wrong, you can fix it right away.

The KRIËGER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter is one of my top picks for the best RV inverter.

Complaints

Although the attached remote is definitely billed as a feature, I personally found that the cord kept getting in the way as I was moving around in my RV. It might work for some people, but I just kept tripping over it.

I also don’t like how it doesn’t have as much surge protection as other power inverters. I travel quite extensively and often run into electrical outages and problems like that on the road. I wish it had a little bit better of a surge protection feature.

Other than those minor criticisms, this product is really quite a winner. I don’t have anything else bad to say about it! Unfortunately, some other RVers had different types of complaints.

Reviews From Other RVers

Although I found this product to work perfectly, some other RVers were not so fully sold on it. Some of them said that the inverter didn’t work at all. They reported that the lights were briefly turned on and then immediately went out. Others said that it didn’t work with an extension power supply and complained that they couldn’t use it while in their cars for some reason.

On the other hand, there were plenty of positive reviews as well, with many RVers talking about how great certain features of the KRIEGER 1100 Watt 12V Power Inverter were.

People mostly liked the fact that it came with a strong warranty and that it could power up several different appliances all at once. One reviewer even said that it was the easiest install that she’d ever experienced with a power inverter. Having had several of them myself, I tend to agree with her!
